Akshaya Patra : 20 thousand rotis in an hour, 12 crore mechanized kitchen started in Madhya Pradesh

Akshay Patra Foundation’s first mega kitchen started in MP on Wednesday. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that arranging nutritious food for children is an act of virtue. Children of nearby schools of Bhopal will be benefitted by the agreement of Madhya Pradesh Government with Akshaya Patra Foundation and HEG Limited. This kitchen shed has been constructed with Rs 12 crore.
The Chief Minister said that if the body is healthy then the mind is also healthy. If other organizations come forward in this field, they are also welcome. We will be able to provide better nutrition to the children. HD Limited Chief MD Ravi Jhunjhunwala, Bhilwara Group Founder Laxminiwas Jhunjhunwala, Manish Gulati, Ramkunwar Gurjar, Additional Chief Secretary Malay Srivastava were present on the occasion. Chouhan said that Prime Minister Modi is running the PM Poshan Shakti Nirman programme, while the Madhya Pradesh government is making arrangements for mid-day meals in the school premises for sons and daughters studying up to class VIII.

Mechanized kitchen, 20 thousand rotis in an hour

Madhya Pradesh’s first mechanized kitchen has started in Shahpura area of ​​the capital. Akshayapatra Foundation has prepared this hi-tech kitchen setup with the CSR fund of HEG Mandideep for about Rs 12 crore. The entire food will be prepared hygienically in the kitchen of Akshayapatra Foundation. In this kitchen, the entire process from cutting vegetables to kneading dough and baking rotis will be done through machines. The machine installed in this kitchen can make 20,000 rotis in an hour. At one go, 12 thousand liters of pulses and 125 kg of rice will be cooked. About 150 employees will work daily in this kitchen.
