Announcement of CM Shivraj – Hindu scriptures will be taught in Madhya Pradesh schools
State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan made this announcement today at Vidya Bharti’s Sughosh Darshan program in Bhopal. Religious scriptures will now be taught in government schools of Madhya Pradesh. The essence of Gita and context of Ramayana Mahabharata will be included in the syllabus. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan paid tribute to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in Vidya Bharti’s Sughosh Darshan programme. He said that the three objectives of education are to impart knowledge-skills and the values of citizenship. Vidya Bharti is fulfilling all these three objectives. The state government is also working to provide better education.
CM Shivraj said in the program that there are some people in the country who take pleasure in criticizing our culture-tradition, life-philosophy, great man, spirituality and religion. They do not know that this country cannot be known without Ram. Ram is settled in our Rome Rome. The name of Ram is taken in both happiness and sorrow.
The Chief Minister has warned such people who insult great men with Hindu scriptures. The Chief Minister said that those who insult great men will not be tolerated. CM Shivraj said that the revolution heroes have given their martyrdom, but today there is a pain in the mind that even after so long of independence, the martyrs are not remembered.
