MP Weather Update : State under heavy rain alert, numerous dam gates are open, major warning for next 24 hours
In the majority of Madhya Pradesh’s districts, it is currently pouring strongly. There has been a heavy rain warning issued for numerous districts. Additionally, the Meteorological Department has issued a rain advisory for Monday. In most of the state’s rivers, flooding is the norm.
Madhya Pradesh is experiencing heavy rain right now. On Sunday as well, numerous districts reported very severe rains. Up until late at night, Bhopal’s capital experienced heavy rain. In the districts of Balaghat, Katni, Tikamgarh, Chhindwara, Jabalpur, Chhatarpur, Niwari, Satna, Umaria, Rewa, Raisen, Shivpuri, Alirajpur, Bhind, Sheopur, Guna, Vidisha, and Rajgarh, extremely heavy rainfall were recorded at several locations. The most precipitation, 59 mm, fell in Narsinghpur on Sunday from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm.
Pachmarhi, Sidhi, Seoni, Bhopal, Satna, Raisen, Damoh, Umaria, Narmadapuram, Chhindwara, Sagar, Indore, Dhar, Guna, Gwalior, Balaghat, and Jabalpur all experienced flooding.
