Javed Miandad, a former captain of Pakistan’s cricket team, admitted that he regrets aiding Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Khan in becoming the nation’s prime minister. The cricketer revealed in an interview with ARY News that Imran Khan did not even thank him for his effort, stating that “my father was very fond of cricket.” Both on the roof and in the streets, my brothers and I played.

Whenever Imran Khan played for the national team, Javed Miandad said, “He tried to keep the margin to a minimum if the team lost.” No one in the team objected to him serving as captain.
