Uttarakhand Employment Fair : Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed the employment fair of Uttarakhand through video conferencing. He further said that with your sense of service, you have to contribute your best in the efforts of development and trust in the state and the nation. Today the country has resolved to prepare the youth of India for the new century through the ‘New National Education Policy’. The responsibility of putting this resolution on the ground in Uttarakhand is on the shoulders of my young friends like you.
PM Modi said that it is our constant effort that every youth should get new opportunities according to his interest and ability, everyone should get the right medium to move forward. This campaign of recruitment in government services is also a step taken to move forward in this direction. In the last few months, the central government has given appointment letters to lakhs of youth of the country.

He further said that you should contribute wholeheartedly in the building of the state as well as the nation. In the new education policy, the focus has been on preparing the youth well for the new century. Through your services, you have to take forward this mission and make it stronger. We have to change that old belief that mountain water and mountain youth are of no use to the mountain. That’s why it has been our constant effort to create employment and self-employment opportunities in the hills.
PM Modi told that today so much investment is being made on infrastructure in Uttarakhand that not only is it becoming easier to travel far and wide, new employment opportunities are also being created. 38 crore rupees have been disbursed so far in Mudra loan in the country. This is the first journey in the lives of many women, SC, ST and youth as entrepreneurs. Such policy initiatives by the government have greatly benefited the entrepreneurs not only in Uttarakhand but across the country.
He said that as of today the remotest areas of Uttarakhand are being connected by road, rail and internet. By the way, tourism is also expanding. New tourist places are coming on the tourism map. Due to this, the youth of Uttarakhand are getting the same employment for which they used to move to big cities earlier. Mudra Yojana is also helping a lot in employment and self-employment. 38 crore Mudra loans have been given across the country. Thousands of our friends from Uttarakhand have also taken advantage of this.
According to PM Modi, this is the ‘Amrit Kaal’ of wonderful possibilities for the youth of India, you have to give it constant momentum through your services.
