In the latest updates on the Karnataka election results, the Congress party is leading in more than half of the seats. Notably, Congress state president D K Shivakumar achieved a significant victory in Kanakapura with over 70% of the votes.
Despite these results, the BJP remains optimistic about avoiding a major defeat and is hopeful for a hung Assembly. However, internal discussions have already begun within the party to analyze the factors contributing to their performance. Some of the reasons mentioned include a lack of clarity within the state unit, excessive reliance on national leadership, confusion regarding candidate selection, and overall leadership issues.
