Tripura Assembly Elections 2023: Only five days are left for the Tripura assembly elections to be held. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s trip to Tripura before the polling is garnering a lot of headlines. PM Modi while shouting election slogans from Radhakishorpur, Tripura said that you have come from so far away to bless NDA and BJP. This ground full of zeal and enthusiasm is telling what the results of the election are going to be.
He further said that your coming here in record numbers is announcing the return of the BJP government. Seeing your numbers, our opponents will lose their sleep. Attacking the opposition, PM Modi said that thousands of villages were deprived of roads under the Congress and Leftist regimes. But in the last 5 years, our government has connected about 5000 villages with roads. We have worked day and night to fulfill all our promises. The people here are witness to our dedication to Tripura, our commitment to Tripura.
He further said that the dreams of the poor, tribal community, women and youth of Tripura were shattered by the Left and Congress regimes. He had forced the people to leave Tripura. Even getting electricity and water was like chewing iron gram. If you removed the leftists then the result is also in front of you. Today Tripura is getting free ration, it is getting full ration. If anyone has benefited the most from this, then my mothers and sisters have benefited.
PM Modi said, you should ensure that every single vote in Tripura should go to BJP. Your vote is very valuable, and the right choice, ‘Kamal’, will take Tripura to an earlier level of development and prosperity. We have given pucca houses to three lakh poor families. I make a promise to you today that the poor who have not yet got a permanent house. After the formation of the BJP government, the work of providing houses to them will be carried forward rapidly.
He said that Tripura needed to save itself from destruction; Congress and Communists never paid attention to the development of Tripura. During the last 5 years only, steps have been taken to change the lives of the people. It is also our government which has increased the social allowance from Rs.500 to Rs.2000. For the first time we have come up with a special savings scheme for our sisters. Women can save up to Rs 2 lakh with the Mahila Samman savings letter.
PM Modi told that 9 years ago Congress and C.P.M. When the people used to run the government together in Delhi, there was a budget of Rs 25 thousand crore for the development of tribal areas and today this budget has increased to more than Rs 1 lakh crore. Here, more than Rs 80 crore money has been sent to the accounts of more than 40 thousand farmers of Gomti district and there is no cut, no donation in between. This money has reached directly into the bank accounts of the farmers.
He further said that the Bharatiya Janata Party’s manifesto for Tripura has actually focused on the development of tribal communities. Our government is committed to the welfare of tribal families and their dignity. Congress and Left make the poor poorer! He has innumerable slogans for the poor, but he never understood and addressed their pain. If there is peace in Tripura today, employment opportunities are also increasing for the youth here.
